I AM:
a native Brooklynite, born of Belizean and Honduran immigrant parents. I am a trans- identified filmmaker, tattoo artist, vegan chef, designer, dj, and Creative Director of bklyn boihood. My innovativeness and resourcefulness transpired a B.A. in Political Science in 2010 from the New School University, and has allowed me to be a continuous politically active member in the LGBTQ of color community in NYC and abroad for nearly 10 years now. My CAMPAIGN is equally essential to my incandescence and having an agency filled life as it is to my active efforts in building community and visibility amongst lgbtq and poc folks.
Woefully, I haven’t been granted ANY of the top surgery scholarships that I’ve applied for over the past 2.5 years (approx. 912 days of dyshporia). Instead of losing faith or dousing myself in self pity I thought it’d be best that I claim what is mine in the Universe, be PRO-ACTIVE, and also TURN TO MY COMMUNITY.
